Intensive Outpatient Program
Sober Living For Women. Reset, Refresh & Energize
What is Intensive Outpatient Program?
Intensive Outpatient Program (often abbreviated to IOP) or known as just “Outpatient Treatment” is an important partner service offered in addition to Luna Cottage’s sober house residential living. Once you have been through detox and inpatient treatment it is a transition to go home or even go from inpatient into sober house or halfway house with only 30, 60 or 90 days clean and sober. If you decide to live at a place like Luna Cottage (a safe sober environment of your piers) we often recommend attending an IOP as well. Although we are not an IOP we work with several IOP’s in the area. These IOP’s provide transportation to and from and have very flexible schedules for you to schedule around your job. They usually provide about 9 hours of both individual and group therapy per week. The outpatient treatment programs that we work with offer morning, afternoon, evening and even Saturday options for you to choose from.
